Friends Reunited is a social networking websites based upon the themes of reunion. The website was conceived by Steve and Julie Pankhurst of Barnet, Hertfordshire in 1999. The site became very popular within a few years of the start. In 2005 Friends Reunited was bought ITV UK for 120 million pounds.
