Ittefaq is one of the most popular newspapers in Bangladesh. It was published in 1953 by Tofazzal Hossain Manik Mia. It has been one of the oldest and most influencial newspaper played a very improtant role in the general elections of 1954 and onword political activities. In 1971 Ittefaq office was burnt down by Pakistan army.
Ittefaq is still a very popular newspaper and circulated online and offline.
